AnonD-27765, 10 Sep 2013Robots are rejoicing when Android beats iOS in sales and ma... morewell then y apple is making iphone 5C(cheap variant) if only one apple product is enought to shoot all millions of versions of S4?? i dont hate apple and love all their stuff but the way ur "hate speech" for the samsung was, i had to make this statement... if a person has to buy an S4 he will choose from any of the versions while many are country specific... even if u think samsung is spamming the market then apple is also by releasing iphone 5C... its competition and every company wants to satisfy customers and yes there are lots of apple customers but if apple will release many versions of phones like samsung then what u think that android fans will also buy apple?? here only the people who desires iphone but were forced to buy android as its cheaper smartphone compared to apple will now have an option who were unable to afford apple.... so its a good option for every company to give choices whether apple nokia samsung or any brand...

how long will such android oem will brainwash people? samsung just optimised the phone to show higher benchmark

i can also add code in s4 rom to show a benchmark of over 9000k.
even google made phone nexus,moto x are low in specs and benchmark. but the perform far better? why samsung optimise touch wise to give good performance not good benchmark score.
i have octa core s4 and somethime the lag and heat make me feel like throwing it out of window.
even my dada use to say dont judge a man by this clothes.
i just got to know it is aplicable for phone too.

Tbh i don't see the point of this in the UK at least, the S4 I9505 is good enough it offers 4G which most of us still can't get, while the Note 3 offers LTE-Advance for EE to test with come end of the year.
So why do we need a S800 version of the same phone?
Is it so your not outdone from the likes of Sony & LG having a more powerful smartphone out on the market?
All Samsung is really doing is pisses off it's original I9505 buyers, and I bet they also offer both 4K recording and 1080p @ 60fps, plus HDR recording to just to rub salt in the wound more, because by the looks of it both 1080p 60fps & HDR recording which the S600 can do, won't be coming to the original I9505.
Personally i think it a bad move by Samsung to release this.

Computers will always be superior to mobi... morebut the gap is closing fast, both have plus and minus and it for a lot of people phones and tablets have replaced computers and laptops, it is a fact that computers will always have place in the world but the line between the 2 is shrinking at a rapid rate, most of my friends have either tablets or phones or both, but not all have laotops or even desktops any more. i still need my laptop for now, but even then, I am considering dropping a laotop for good as the majority of my stuff can be done with a tablet and keyboard. I am not quite there yet mind.

Next nexus....a.k.a nexus 5 = best "bang" for buck...not this $600 galaxy crap....

How many more varia... morewhile i agree with what you say, it is simply samsung listening to market demand and thus offering a model for every scenario, it is also a hit and hope situation, see which models do well, but samsung could simply have held back a month or 2 kept the s3 sales turning over and then brought out a s800 galaxy s4 with waterproofing and a better camera and then there would only been the need to bring out 1 or 2 models, but i for one was not impressed when i got my nice new s4 only to find out there was the active in the works, and then i heard about this model a few weeks ago, initially only for Asian markets but there was a lot of demand for this phone so now its been offered worldwide, i think that if an S5 is offered next year and is worth buying i will wait a month or 2 before committing just to make sure i actually have the right specced model for my needs.

now the owners of galaxy s4 (i9500) will b feeling cheated.really im going to stop buying samsung mobiles.sony mobiles ptroducing more powerful phone on a cheaper rate than samsung.so its time to change.

It won't stop until people that don't seem to realise that when your phone is more powerful than you desktop/laptop/tablet you don't need them.
The people that chase technology (and there seems to be many of them on these forums) forget they are only impressing themselves and the small circle of people that think like they do.
Once you see a slab of plastic covered in a "gaudi" case half the time you cant even tell what it is.
Samsung are getting close to the point where (as in the sci-fi movies) they will produce the high street Digital media devices invade your lives even more than their phones in combination with social networks.
There will be a saturation point at some point but it will be too late.
Perhaps the other vendors should stop sucking up to Asia and start targeting latin American and Africa.
The Asian markets are at the point where people only have enough money for the same crap every couple years, instead of every few months.
Maybe they'll stop once a few people catch fire with overheating Hokey Cokey 2000 cpu's with 1TB storage and 100 megapixel camera's.
My Burger taste the same as yesterday (it doesn't need a zoom lense). SOmetimes too much change is a bad thing,
