yellow, 24 Sep 2013is that why samsung is using a quad core and octa core proc... moreits more up to software optimization that brute power itself, apple is making incredibly optimized software and samsung runs on..meh.. android, whose been written badly from the very beginning and thats the burden itll have to carry till the end unless they rewrite whole system ground up which would take few years and backward compatibillity is a no go, if it would work theyd just fix that issue and everything would be alright but since its not possible they marketing "project butter" and making phones as powerful as todays computers just to avoid glitches of poorly implemented code and make os run "faster".. get real, iphone has 6x lower specs on paper and stil runs 6x better than any android as well as windows phone, dont take me wrong i use xperia z and i love it but still i think android shouldve been far better system that it already is..

Snapdragon 800 in the Note 3 and Z1 are bottle neck with iPhone 5s, Geekbench is the most reliable benchmark, iPhone 5s only reigns in browser-based benchmarks.

A7 cores are derived from ARMv8 Cortex A53 AND A57.

Stop making shit up, most bloggers on the internet are paid by Apple to spread lies they do not mention that the Z1 scores over 2700 points in Geekbench 3 as to not make iPhone 5s looks bad.

Samsung just fabricates chips for apple So yeah they are like glorified foxconn for apple. I guess this is the last chip which would be manufactured by samsung and they might move to TSMC next year. Learn to have a healthy discussion and learn to listen when someone more knowleadgable is saying something. I m not saying that someone is me :P but talking generally.

Stop with this blue print nonsense as if it is classified, Apple did not design ARMv8, ARMv8 is licensed to be used by every associate partner respectively, it's not exclusively to Samsung or Apple in that matter. Samsung is a conglomerate, Foxconn is an assemble factory.

Not targetting you here but generally speaking android users seem to have this inferiority complex or whatever that whenever any article regarding apple is posted they flock to it and write totally baseless dumb stuff that's downright annoying. I myself have been using android since 2 months but i still say iOS is much better atleast for me and i cant wait to get back to it as soon as my 5s delivers !!
