the first ever smartphone is SIMON which was produced by IBM on the mid 90s which was followed by Nokia. and lets not forget that Sony is the first one to call it smartphone. so thank you IBM, for taking chances, thank you Nokia and Sony for the ideas, thank you Samsung for the innovation, thank you HTC for making it a hit, thank you Apple for making it a necessity, and thank you to Motorola, LG and to all smartphone developers for chipping in.. may you all keep the competition alive!

LOL at the Nokia 1020 fanboys talking smack. You should have gotten the 808 Pureview...at least then you would have an OS that could take full advantage of the camera's features. Instead you got a garbage OS that limits the true capabilities of your "camera." And yet you still talk smack about the still unreleased Samsung Galaxy F when the six month old Galaxy Zoom wiped the floor with your 1020 already, and was almost as good as the 808 Pureview at picture quality. Haters gonna hate.

Because I've never catch any reviewer on the net that has held the Note 3 in their hands saying anything about it being not as good as the G2. In fact, even aside of its raw power shown on benchmarks, every reviewer out there was giving the highest praises for the Note 3 for its amazing specs, design and features. Or maybe you've got the Note 3 before the whole world and has made a hands on comparison between it and the G2 and found otherwise? Is that so? Hmm. I think you're just trolling. Poor LG troll. Lol

But if you prefer the XZ for its special feature for outdoor worker, I don't blame you. But you must also remember that not everyone in this world is an outdoor photographer like you. ;)

to be honest, its about time samsung updated touchwiz compared to htc's sense ui touchwiz seems a little plain in visuals and appearance. Also the galaxy name is just way to overused by samsung they should try to find another name ._.

Zzzz, 25 Sep 2013No real photograper i have seen take picture with phone for... moreYup, I have an SLR and I use my Z when I go on dusty and wet place. I had a galaxy s3 and it suddenly fell in the mud and when I got it. Sadly, it's wreck so I had to borrow my friends smartphone to call my wife in another country. I learn my lesson and sony comes up with xperia Z which help me in my work. No one can match SLR but thanks for the comment.

In all fairness, I've seen real photographers take better pictures with a smartphone than some wannabees with point-and-shooters that also wannabe SLRs.

Whoever wrote the last paragraph made it an unholy mess of logic.
It says this new Galaxy F is rumored to come early this year.
The Galaxy Sx has always come out in the first half of the year, so please, how exactly does this change the argument about the competition in the second half?
The competition can still do business as usual (just beat the models of the first half), since only Note remains as a novelty for the second half.

Samsung is the biggest mobile phone maker, you should respect them. They make great smartphones, you will see by next year how they are going to crush the other brands. Probably only LG will be able to compete with them.
