They should drop their cost immediately! Like what sony ericsson did during their transition to sony.

It is a pity there are so many knockers of BB, when in todays world we need a secure mobile phone os, and it seems BB is the closest to that mark. Look at the PRISM spy issue, and Google (Android), Apple and MS (Win 8) are named as leaking information. So if you are a corporate or Government concerned with your mobile phone communications, then forget the rubbish on racing specifications (which are not needed), and buy secure devices. Z10 is now half the price of most top end new Samsung, LG, HTC, Sony or Apple, and it is a good secure device, BIS is $8 per month unlimited internet access, so where is the problem. Dont tell me apps. I have 7 apps on my Z10 which is all I need so it seems when a person or company is down we all love to kick the guts out of the perceived looser when if fact we should be busting our guts to support them.

Why current BB Smartphone markets remain stagnant ?
It is the wrong pricing, setted at the highest premium level. where as... features quality not upto the Customer's expectation.

Nobody can compete with Apple, Google, and Microsoft in the mobile OS currently. Those three have too much money and resources. Only way is out for RIM.

How could it have any possibly any chance of surviving when it still wants to charge a premium price for its device it used to charge in its Hey-day! People will just simply buya an iPhone, S4 or Note 2, & HTC one at the top end; it needs to be priced at best low to mid level prices to have any chances of staying alive otherwise.....RIP.

Blackberry can't sell without BIS, thats what made it different from other brands. No BIS, No sales for blackberry.

Are you quite sure that Nokia was not the one creating smartphone genre starting with Nokia N9000 back in 1996.

The day will come, where the blackberry will claim the ladder towards the heaven, and proff itsself better than OS, Android and Wp.

Ag no, guys. An OS is not a religion. Its a technical tool to get things done. Blackberry created the whole smartphone genre. The only mistake they made is that they underestimated the Apple marketing machine. Yes, they lost market share, but without Blackberry, smart phone eco system turns into a 2-horse race and everybody looses. I wish Blackberry well and hope they get the magic formula sooner rather than later. In the mean time I am enjoying the diversity posed by iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Win8
