At last we are going to get unbreakable display. This feature will be more useful than being waterproof. In future we will see phone without any side bezel and with small footprint. We will also miss the droptest video in Gsmarena blog.

why they want to create something like this when they cant even solve the hang problem

anyone bashing samsung for bringing out a flexible display need to rethink their sad comments really, the idea behind this goes beyond bending phones, it is more practical to think that they could offer a phone with a true edge to edge display, as its not made of glass it would not shatter and therefor would not need bezel potentially, the sides could become notification bars, if you look beyond the hatred for a company there is plenty of ideas that could be used from these screens, i dont even think they have worked out how to make the other componants such as batteries and chipsets flexible yet, also companies are trying to ever make thinner phones, these new displays are as thin as paper and way lighter, so its perfectly reasonable that lets say a samsung s5 could have a 5.5" screen in the body of an s4 and weigh only 100g and be as thin as 6mm ish, people always slate designers of current phones yet as soon as new tech comes to fruition they bash that as well, lg are also making a flexi screen but nobody has remarked on that, funny eh! think outside the box people and you can see the uses of flexible screens :-)

What do u do with processors, batteries.etc...

I can see this being useful for smart watches on your wrist, where the display wraps around, but that's about all.
