It frustrates me just how expensive the iPhones are on the whole, but they're so damn easy to use and find your way around.
The layout is easy as pie and there's none of this complicated symbolic lark.
People want fancy handsets that don't take years to master, so investing in the iPhone is the most logical way forward.

No one who has owned an android would say it has apps you don't need for your life, because if any application doesn't suit you, you simply unistall it.
And of there are lots of useless apps on android, there are equally the same amount of useless apps on iOS.
Furthermore, no one that changed from Android to IOS would say iOS is simple to use, maybe one would say iOS is very limited. Saying iOS is simpler to use than android is crap only an Apple fanboy would say (either he actually owns a phone an IPhone or not).
Back to topic, maybe iOS increasing market share in the USA but probably not here.

of course I also would like to buy iPhone cheaper price, or design suit. I Also want to buy Ferrari with cheaper price, but its not going to happen. They have their price, people pay it or not. Clearly people are willing to pay it.
I also think iPhone 5S is quite expensive phone, but I still going to buy it, last time i bought phone was 2009 and i still have that iPhone 3GS. it was also expensive phone, but if it still ok phone after 4 years i can say it has been all worth of all that money and more.
Also the resale price for iPhone is best in the market by far. So if you pay little bit more you get it back if you want to for example get upgraded model next year or something else.
Also what you said about changing things, that's why millions jailbreak their iOS devices so can do lot more than out of box.
Most of people just doesn't care changing things. Or how many different desktop or laptop windows screen have you seen? you can change lot of things, but still most of windows looks just same.
For example my windows 7 still looks completely same than what it looks years ago when i installed it.

I've been using Apple for a few years now and only recently switched to a HTC One. I must say both have their pros and cons. However the personalisation Android offers makes it the overall best choice. Android is no longer this buggy, laggy device that just crawls behind Apple. Jellybean has completely changed all that. Everything I could do on my iPhone I can do on my HTC one, plus a lot more. The display, the hardware, the looks, plus the price really do make my One the better phone.
I really do respect Apple as they do make fantastic solid devices. But the fact that they charge more for a device that offers less, combined with having fcontrol of how your phone looks, makes them less appealing. Ios 7 is just a glam makeover of ios 6. You really cant change the icons and main layout. You cant change the keyboard, the dialer, basically most of the phone. Apple want you to stick to their layout, which is a bit unfair on the user. If you're happy with that, great. I wouldn't be now. Don't get me wrong, iphones are great. I just do not think they are revolutionary as I used to think they were a couple of years ago.

Well all who doesnt lock their phones at all, and almost half of people doesnt lock their phones, so for them fingerprint is very handy and they finally start locking their phones.
Also fingerprint is easiest and fastest way to open your phone.

Not just like those phone running for Andriod OS that many applications install on your mobile phone that doesn't need in your everyday life.
I just sold my Sony Xperia Z just to buy the iPhone 5 even there is 2 new iPhones come out this year. I'm satisfied to used it and I love it very much.

This is just US which don't matter much. Remember people, before Iphone, we had Nokia and Sony phones ruling the world. If you're such tech savvy, you should buy Iphone for a toy for once in your lifetime.
Personally if I have the money now, I still won't buy it. I like my screen bigger and become productive.
Money is out of the US right now which means it is in your countries which means jobs for you which means people would prefer big multitasking phablets for their hard earned money.

Android is great (I use a Lenovo K900), but the iPhone is without a question the best designed and executed phone out there. The seamless integration with the rest of the Apple ecosystem is worth a lot, too.
And the new fingerprint unlock is actually the first well-executed major feature I have lasted after in years, since it is actually useful.
BTW, I just came back from a trip and compared photos on my 60" plasma from the iPhone 5, the K900 and the S4. While the K900 had the best looking photos when viewing on its 5.5" screen, the iPhone photos had the best balance and were most usable on the 60" screen.
Don't count Apple out yet. They have the design, the integration and the knowhow to make some of the best electronic products. They are expensive, but at the end are generally worth it.
I am considering changing my K900 for a 5S, partially because of the size (5.5" is too big for daily use for me) and partially because of the camera (I had high hopes for the Xperia, but did not like the images that much).

Guys, seriously? Get a life! Letting a piece of hardware/software define who you are and your beliefs is just pathetic. Our society really disappoints me with this kind of mindless chatter. If you like Samsung go for them, and vice versa with Apple. I promise you the world will not come to an end if you let someone else have their own preferences.
I know this probably won't effect anyone of the die hard fanatics out there, but it's worth saying. There are for more important issues in this world. I sincerely hope none of the immature people on here don't have children.

Just use what you like don't be judgemental.
If apple is piece of ćřàp then why everyone is concerned abt it. Get a life people.

Sony deserves to be in the second place next to Apple. Sony listens to their costumers and provides good quality mobile phones. Samsung on the other hand is now becoming an eat-what-i-feed-you company.

i really don't want to be mean but this goes to show the iq level of the apple fans, it's almost the same as iphone 5, i will admit that it is fast, but it's not worth it's money since the display is to small to really benefit the power, camera 8mp.. display resollution low, bluetooth with other devices non, no sd card, no usb on the go, so ok u have a iphone 4, it is worth the upgrade but to go from a iphone 5 or even 4s it's pointless, they are already fast, if you don't add stuff, features, that can benefit from their speed like a higher res screen, it's useless, or a better camera. it's like heaving a strong car designed to carry stuff, but no room to carry the stuff, and if you can't admit this than you are a mindless zombie.
