NOW! The challenge for the qualcomm is how to make their next generation processors handle the 64bit android on a dual core processors cause what's the point in going quad to octa cores if the apps requirements is atleast 1gb of ram? Or running on a dual core without any bus load requirements? Going a 4gb of ram is not a solution as it only decreases battery life. Releasing a curved model smartphone only releases the ugliness of how manufacturers make smartphone.

In the case of The Note 3, it was the Note 3 that put the Apple chip to shame. It beats the A7 chip on every benchmark by quite a margin, and only lost in browser benchmarks by a very tiny margin. So, nothing beats the Note 3 and that is that.

Yes, there are several benefits on 64 bits over 32 bits, but everything come with a price/tradeoff. The main disadvantage of 64 bits is that, relative to 32-bit architectures, the same data occupies more space in memory (due to longer pointers and possibly other types, and alignment padding). This disadvantage itself is enough to said that why it is an overkill grimmick for smartphone nowadays as most smartphone OEMs only putting such a poor tiny 8/16/32 memory space on the phone compare to PC.
The 64 bits is indeed the future of the mobile OS/smartphone, but definitely not now or even the near future. Furthermore, without the support of an 64 bit application, a 64 bits processors totally a waste. Even though Apple is currently "forcing"/pushing all app developer to upgrade their apps in order to support 64 bits (just like what they and Microsoft done on PC OS).
But look at our PC OS, the 64 bits PC OS has been released quite a few years already (roughly 15~16 years already). But still, you will still find that all PC OS manufacturer including Microsoft's latest OS - Window 8 and Apple's latest OS - OS X 10.8 are all still supporting 32 bits. Why? Because the 64 bits adoption is still slow (it takes 10 years to complete the majority adoption from 16 to 32 bits in PC) and big transition/adoption normally takes a long time to complete. So this mean that even PC OS started the 64 bits adoption 15+ years ago, the adoption is still ongoing, and how long do it takes for a smartphone OS to fully adopt 64 bits? Again, not in the near future....

What has been said cannot be unsaid. I still believe in the Snapdragon 800 though, it just needs less crappy software and more pure Android.

The new IPhone5s with its new dual core putting to shame other s800 devices is no surprise, in fact it is mandatory; first it utilizes a very light OS, second almost everybody knows that c programs run faster then android/java counterparts at least for now in the mobile department, third it is running on native code with no virtual machine to deal with, fourth it is meant to take advantage of a certain hardware set, etc... Now what more of an advantage over the s800 devices could you ask for?
But on a side note, IOS7 is heavier than IOS6, I kind of felt it on older generations of IPAD, the animations are slower than the usual.

Qualcomm... Pls focus on developing your products before passing comments on others.... Everybody has a different taste & each one will buy a phone that appeal them... Apple iPhone & iOS are good in their own way & have a lot of fans to respect it. Android is also a very good OS & there is a group of people who prefer it over other Eco systems. So leave the choice to customers & stop bashing on others which is of no use....
