I really did not like the S4. It has so many useless features and it drags. I am starting to really like LG and Sony. The phones are nice and they are really fast and there is no crappy touchwiz that slows the phone down.

The S4active doesn't use a plug to waterproof its headphone-jack, but I think it still needs to cap the usb port and that kind of sucks. How many Sony owners have already ruined their rubber plugs? Nano-coating and an unbreakable screen (that still allows screen protectors so it doesn't get scuffed) would be fantastic.
Now if only android would make an update to give back all the features it took away; apps2SD, use device as external drive, option to turn Flash back on, quick controls, etc..you know, everything good about 2.2.

the idea of sealing a phone against water leakage is old , and certainly not invented by Sony. I could name you at least 6 companies that used to make these types of phones before you were born (for sure you are under 6).

I don't think they are copying Sony! This is we call STEALING the idea from the other! Samsung is really good at it. It's not surprise at all. They know that the future of smartphone will cover up by water resistant device, so they will bring it faster like they used to do with iPhone. I think if the future of smartphone is the water resistant device and Sony rules the smartphone world like Apple is doing today, I dint think it's a good idea to sue Samsung like Apple is doing today! Please Kill Samsung with your power Sony!

What's with all the S5 Rumors already? I mean people just had the S4. Give them some time to enjoy their device instead of making them feel OLD already! Thank god we know that the S5 will probably look like the S4 and S3.

I love samsung. I have a s4 and it is a power house. The cpu is lightning quick. And when the s5 comes out I will surely upgrade. I've heard its going to be all metal

BUT they're among the 1st who did that for their VERY FLAGSHIP devices. Phone makers won't even bet to waterproof their flagship devices as they're afraid of ruining it.

This will only be the least bit interesting if Samsung opts for nanocoating waterproofing instead of the ol' rubber sealing. This lets all ports be exposed as well as leaving the battery easily interchangable. It's also something for the fanboys to flaunt.
