America at its best with double standards. So only Apple can ban and others can't ban Apple, and even if you "win", that win is negated by the American president.

Even the example I've given is a Symbian, not Windows Mobile.
Saying that their copy of the technology worked better will hardly make your case of Apple being the "innovative" one.

Qualcomm, Texas OP, Samsung etc are just contract manufacturers. If apple and ARM stops giving patent rights to samsung, then samsung is screwed unless they wanna use intel processor. Please educate yourself before commenting

If Samsung Group (not just Electronics) had any business sense at all, they would have tied their supply contracts to Apple's patent suits. Sue us. No more supplies.
They want to have their cake and eat it too. They deserve what they get.

Apple first, customer second. Having billions in cash reserve is not enough, they want more and more and more. Apple are the world champs at emptying the pockets of its customers. No one else even comes close, and they do it without even blinking.

Should I say LOL ?. Funny how Americans think - Apple wins in court - Samsung devices banned, Samsung wins in court - president Obama vetoed the ban. Looks like Apple is protected by the gov in US - poor Americans shortly they will be buying only Apple products because to many bans on foreign products. Funny that they trying take a rip-off from Samsung and they don't even look how many Chinese copies infringe all aspects of Apples precious iPhone.

While others suing Apple had no effect I don't see why Apple suing others will have any effect.

At the time the *real* innovators like Nokia, SonyEricsson, Motorola and such failed to realize the true value of those novelties, allowing them to fall under "prior art" and "public domain".
Make no mistake, Apple's only innovation is how tightly it was able to market what other had done several year prior. And that is something based on actual facts which have actual dates, not a generic claim of any sort.
One could claim the 2002 SonyEricsson P800 already did everything the original iPhone (2007) trumped as innovation, being the largest difference the fact that Sony brands their music player Walkman and not "iPod".
