AnonD-197954, 20 Oct 2013yet android took jellybean(from cupcake) to be free of lag ... moresorry bud...since Android runs on Java VM, lag is a natural occurence. it will never go away even if it reaches "Zabiglone" (an Italian dessert).

...maybe if 1024 core and 512gb RAM is used. nah. even if it does, Android will still lag.

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2013Silly comparison and incorrect as well. How long have W... moreWP 7.x and WP 8.x are 2 different versions altogether since they use different kernels.

Android "versions" are similar to Windows updates - these "versions" are really just tweaks to an existing platform...hence, they cant even be called "versions".

Android "versions" are just a marketing gimmick to get you to buy new hardware since the latest "version" requires better group of hardware. that's why most Android phones wont get the latest "version" due to hardware requirements.

you cant say its the Lumia 900 experience all over again since GDR3 is an update to the current WP version.

ALL existing WP8 phones will get GDR3.

Imagine the latest and so expensive Lumia 1020 and Lumia 925, with all the "high end" specs and 200mp camera is already outdated and can't get the full GDR3 update and as soon as the 1520 hits, it becomes obsolete.

It becomes the Lumia 900 story all over again!
