Amazing idea, but I just wonder what happens when the phone eventually meets concrete? I'm guessing it will be the same as a Lego... (not a pretty sight)

Blocks concepts is superb idea. You could upgrade just what you need, instead of upgrading the whole device. But according to the pictures, blocks MUST be INSIDE the device, NOT visible from outside. There must be an external cover. Idea is amazing, but mobile phone sales will fall a lot as customer will renew just parts, not the whole phone......

Great idea! But IMO, instead leaving the back looks "blocky", allow user to have a back cover to cover everything up.

More so then pricing, size, and vulnerability.

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2013now if the price for each modules is 100 dollars each and y... moreVery good point. What will pricing per module be? Especially for a good one? OEM's make and buy things in massive quantity. By thousands an millions...Costing and selling realyl cheap in that sense....But per single piece? Yikes. Could get ugly..
So good draw backs brought up.
                            -Dropping...Yikes
                            -Price?
                            -Compatibility?
                            -Out-dating?
-Size?...Though as we have seen most "first to market" things start off thicker and advance/thin out.
-How well will pieces hold together?

Just for a few....One thing I like about the idea is that each and every phone seems to be so specific about all parts only fitting and working in said phone....So detailed absolutely specific...It's unreal...

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2013Who is going to copy this idea? This is a concept IDEA. Not an actual announcement...And not even Motorola's idea....So any phone company that makes one is "in your view" copying.....
Try to have a more logical realistic outlook.

TBH, would look amazing with windows phone. and sense WP is driver based, they can easily develop drivers for new hardware, amazing :D
