i recommend all samsung s3 owners to stay with 4.1.2. its better than 4.3 but if you like to try 4.3 please please do full titanium backup before updating.

This firmware is rolled out for Vodafone Ireland and should not be applied to the International Version of Galaxy S3.

mixa, 03 Nov 2013All those who had the chance to test 4.3 will tell you that... moreThe problem is "most manufacturers" had already skipped 4.2.x, delaying it one more time would fall under the most fatal technology deadlock: there is always something better just around the corner, if you keep waiting for the next big thing then you will never do anything.
That "rumor" about Sony is very nice indeed, but I recommend caution. Low-ends are very unlikely to ever get updated and not all Mid-ranges may get the update.
I would rather wish that Sony aided Cyanogenmod in giving proper support for all their (older) phones than keeping up with this "once in a device lifetime" upgrade gimmick. -- Not bashing Sony, just giving them the hint that would make them true leaders in this Android phone industry. Today I just won't buy a phone that doesn't have official support from the Cyanogenmod team.
