how are you gonna hold it? won't the sensors on the far sides of the touch screen register your fingers? Or are you just supposed to sit this thing on your palm and not grip it? innovation or a waste of resource? all the materials used to create these things came from some where, and surely, they're not from an unlimited source. do people really need to change/upgrade their gadgets too often? haven't you noticed that every time these companies release their "best", there is still always some flaw? bringing all the so called "innovations" on their new screens whilst neglecting on more important features like battery and build. why make powerful processors when all that power will only be used to process display resolution which is already out of whack!?!? get my gist?

wow, samsung innovation? its like the curve phone which was useless, why can a smartphone owner read their messages at an angle when they can read it in front of the screen,..

Wraparound' i thought the screen is up to back. Oled screen is flexible and it can be rolled even on a pencil. So they can make it up to back of a phone. Not so much usefull if only on the edge. Maybe much better if back to back rather than side, more usefull.

This is what I'm looking for instead of huge ugly phones, this is more useful.

genius, 14 Nov 2013I can't be the only one who thinks this design in incredibl... moreYou probably are not the only person who thinks this is stupid, however until it is produced and in your hands, all it is, is conjecture and opinion, however I agree that the device pictured above is quite ugly IMO, most likely won't be the product we see in production...

pukemon, 15 Nov 2013yawn. there probably is definitely a niche for this phone ... moreJust like there was a niche for 5+ inch phablets, it grew huge btw...
I'm not saying that it will be very useful in the short term, however technology in its practical form has to start somewhere, and who knows it might be beneficial for daily smart phone use, or it may not. However I think I'll keep my opinionated judgement to myself, until the device comes out and I can try it and see for myself...

Nokia had this concept years ago, same with flexible device - it's even a working prototype!

                        P.S. Jolla FTW :)

Talk about viewing angles taken to the extreme! =D

yawn. there probably is definitely a niche for this phone but it's probably for people who sit at a desk and are actually too busy to screw around on their smartphone all day. or the suit and tie type too busy counting money on a laptop and not socializing about it on their phone.

Oh yes, flat screen is so incredibly inconvenient that we need a whole new generation of curved ass phones. LOL.
