Really can't deal with that battery drain issue.
Hoping the fix it asap so we all can enjoy 4.3 and soon after(i hope)4.4 kitkat.

kitkat so late for my s3. oem like samsung should bring kitkat to s4,note 3 in december and note 2,s3 in january.also less skinned touchwiz.

i can never believe the upgrade to kit-kat will ever be available in Malaysia.
Upgrade for the Note to Jellybean 4.2 was never available in Malaysia.

I flashed 2 official Vodafone 4.3 releases for the S3. Both were buggy, but especially the 2nd version which really was extremly bad, the battery would drain 60% overnight & lock screen would either not respond or take 30 seconds before being able to attempt to unlock it. I'm going on holiday in 2 weeks, and 4.1.2 works fine, so for the time being, I will leave it as it is... But 4.3 does looked nice and did have some genuine useful features that 4.1.2 does not have... (which is why I couldn't resist and flashed my phone a 2nd time) ;-)

As i recall there ah a few devices running it and Samsung Has at least to of them. The 4.3 update for the GT-I9300 has some bug issues. I partly blame Google for this. They released three different software updates in less than a year. It is unrealistic to expect the other companies to upgrade at the same speed. Just not going to happen.
I myself is waiting for the update but my phone works pretty well already so not in a hurry at all after what I've heard about the update so far...

TBH, I take this news with a pinch of salt, I'm still waiting for a working 4.3 version for my S3... Samsung are becoming extremely unreliable of late, I'm almost tempted to go LG for my next flagship phone... I just think they have spread themselves way too thinly, it now takes way too long to get the updates out there, especially my S3 that at the end of the day has at least 50 million users!!!

Don't get to excited, they might just postpone it as usual, the promise 4.5 next year.
