I hope LG is paying attention, they finally got a device that put their name on the spotlight and they don't get it that will quickly loose it if they don't catch up with the competition. My main reason for ditching brands is for their lack of fast and reliable support. For the time being Ill stop recommending it.

The same old story with LG. I remember when i first bought the optimus 2x back in the day and it has amazing specs but crappy software. Its the same with this one. Lg never provides software updates as fast as the other phone makers. Such a shame, and out of my personal experience rooting and installing cm doesnt solve all the issues...not to mention devs quickly forget about LG phones....

The first thing is battery, 3000 vs 2600, plus good optimization, bigger better screen.

No matter how good my batter life is, if an update comes out that gives me better battery life I'll always take it.

Again, I need to ask, do You really impressed with its battery life? Thanks for sharing.

And IMO, the LG skin is much better then the Samsung skin. My wife has a Note 2 so this is first hand experience.

LG G2... Well, I'm coming to this S4's challenger as my S3 getting older. Nice to try LG's flagship for the very first time, and I plan to get it at the end of this year. Can anyone tell me what's the main advantage of G2 over S3? Thanks in advance.

I came from a Nexus 4 and I had to install a bunch of tweaks just to get some toggles/features that are already built into the LG skin. On top of that, naturally, all of the 3rd party widgets had their own looks so it wasn't uniform or had complete functions. The LG launcher is actually pretty customizable as well. You can use any picture you want as icons and it can even resize most widgets. I really don't see the need for 4.4 unless it fixed some serious problems, but I still have yet to find a problem that needs to be fixed.
