Good news is that it's gonna have 1080p display instead of battery guzzling marketing gimmick QHD or 2K. If this is true then it is awesome news. Though on screen keys are a little bit sad..

I agree with my friend and ui sense is very soft ,no lag and very smoth then the snap800 and 2ddr3 of ram in one+ or htc two will work better and smoother than touchwiz, sony awful UI and .... . please look at apple and nokia that works very easy and smooth with lower hardware.for sure the softwares are as importance as hardware.when the one wore the crown of 2013 mobile with lower hardware, one+ wear too. the grand hTC.

Goddammit, most people asking for a 4K screen don't have a 1080P TV at home and would not distinguish between a 5" FullHD and a 4K screen if they swiped their nose on them.
Keep buying from Samsung or LG stuff you can't physically perceive, just because they have bigger numbers, and then complain about Apple.

it makes perfect sense to keep a 1080p screen, and I wish everyone else was doing it as well, because on a 5" screen, moving to 2K from 1080p will do 4 things.

1- put more stress on the battery

2- put more stress on the GPU

              3- raise the price

4- convince stupid people that the numbers actually make a meaningful difference in the usability when they don't.

You can take a 1080p 5" screen, put it next to a 1440p 5" screen, do whatever you want with it, and unless you have a magnifying glass, you won't know the difference.

Yeah maybe we will pass the 2K screen and be happy with the Full HD but 2900 Mah with 5" screen + Snap 800 or as the rumores say they wll put Snap 805 ?!!? Come on guys be real and serious !! The battery will hardly last for one day with normal use !! The same problem I have on HTC One !!! Normal user and the battery barrly gives me 1 day !! If I use the 3G not to say the 4G internet the battery goes down in 16-18 hours ! If you don't consider the battery a problme then yes this phone is not dead from the begining !! PS : I almost forgot ! The same desing as HTC One !! Another big big minus for HTC One 2 or plus how the hell the name will be !! They made HTC One in 2 millions of samples : HTC One mini , HTC One Max the only thing missing is HTC One middle !! The more samples you make of one phone the more peoples get bored of the desing !!

So big kudos to HTC then for not wasting resources (SoC, battery) for useless QHD resolution.

To have 500+ ppi which is useless, because human eye can't see pixels above 350ppi. Bigger resolution= Bigger power consumption!

You don't need 2k 5k or zillionK on your mobile screen is just wonder.Even at the moment HTC One rules how smooth it is. Software optimized very well. My only wish is they improve camera and lets say puts bigger battery. Done apart from it they already have superb phone.

Dead on arrival? Do you even know the differences between Sense and say Touchwiz for example, Sense is a super lightweight UI that requires much lower hardware specs than any sh*tty samsung phone. I'd still rather have a slightly lower specced HTC that I know has a good build quality compared to plastic tat from Samsung that will be riddled with faults throughout the lifetime of the device.

This render in the picture looks pretty good. I'm fine with 1080p and Snapdragon 800, just keep the display 4.9" or smaller.

Weak !! Very weak !! Battery will have 2900 Mah and the same display as HTC One ?? They promised a 2K display ! Were is it ? Samsung will bring 2K displays and many more on phones and HTC brings same phone as HTC One with the same weak battery ... But I guess that is the reason why HTC is lossing a lot of ground ! Like someone said this phone is dead from the begining !!
