Why sony don't develop a new os? And also no camera flash on tablet.

The bezels are to hold it in either portrait or landscape. With a small tablet like the Nexus 7, it's easy to hold it either way with just the top and bottom bezels being larger, but with a bigger tablet like this it is harder to hold in portrait if you only have the top and bottom to hold on to. Just play with a 10" tablet enough and I think you'll see what I'm saying.

bezal r made because of water proof.
EXample all xperia z, z ultra, z1, z1c,z1s and tablet z have bazel. where ZL have very thin which is z's sibling without water-proof.
I have z and belive me when you will carry that phone while running in rain or have droped phone in water accidently, U will thanks being waterproof rather than being thick bezel.

I must admit I am a sony fan. 1080p is acceptable but the huge bezels are NOT. I think I'll pass this time. I suggest they re-design this otherwise this will be a FLOP.

It's 2014, and yet Sony persisting with 1080p display for a tab. Meh! And what's with the huge bezels? It's good to have water and dust resistant feature, but it shouldn't be made mandatory at the cost of slim bezels.
I wonder how come a Japanese MNC could not get its shit together. Mediocre LCD TFT displays on its phones, Slow updates, gargantuan bezels, over-hyped camera, laughable image processing algorithms, feeble speakers.. the list goes on.
The only things I find good in Sony's phones are the hardware design and the UI. They are the best in the market when it comes to those two nevertheless.
