AnonD-234494, 26 Feb 2014250 the 8GB version?no, in PH that's the dual-sim 16GB variant, 8GB dual-sim variant is at 10000 PhP (~$215). given the shipping costs and because it's not single sim, the pricing is still pretty attractive.

The SP is an older phone and has had its price decline over time. Want to compare the price of the SP on launch vs Moto G on launch?
That mere 60 dollar difference is 140% of the value of the Moto G.

So if those advantages matter to a buyer like LTE, expandable memory and better camera then they will choose the SP. But what if someone said add 60 to the SP and you can get a Nexus?

Moto G? Overpriced. $200 if you are lucky to get it cheap, $260 if you live in Europe and have to get it from places like Amazon UK. That is a level higher pricing compared to where the phone is for some US customers that can get the 16GB version below $200.
Sure 8GB version is cheap, but also useless. The phone has no external memory card, no SD card. You are stuck with the memory you buy and 16GB is on the lower useable limit. 1GB RAM is nothing impressive either. Phones cameras are way beyond last year and even Chinese phones have better ones. 1.3Mpx front camera? What a joke. The phone is also large for a 4.5" screen and Moto X proves it when packing 4.7" into the same dimensions. Moto G? = cut down, lower cost Moto X. The phone is hyped and barely available. Hard to get if you are not in US or UK, maybe Germany. Otherwise you have to get it shipped from one of these to get it. Liked it and wanted to buy it at first too, then made my research and found there are better phones that have even better prices. Just look around.

We are vaguely proud of Motorola Moto G as Indian phone lovers. But the product is still not available to the reach of the prospect buyers in India.Advertising and praise is hovering in the air unnecessary loud.Chanting moto g is every phone web.But a company's goodwill and faith depends on its availability and service centres .So its better to buy a bit inferior product to have better service available in the locality.
