Apple makes that best phones with the best OS also has the best appstore with the best apps.. when you buy an Iphone you get the whole product, Android has to pack so much hardware into their phones to try to complete yet they still cant make a phone with the same form factor as an Iphone, this is why if you have the cash you will most likely buy an Iphone...

batman, 27 Feb 2014each screen only cost $3 i dont think that will rise the price Every EMMC Apple uses costs around 10 cents, yet they charge about $100 more per storage capacity, I've never known Apple to not jack up the price of products for total bs reasons :P

Apple has no new innovation and coating with sapphire that is not necessary. Next time it may bring gold coated back cover and pretend to have been produced the best phone. It's specifications and price is unsuitable. Chinese phones has better hardware and half of the price. Do not think iphone is expensive because of quality, check BOM or bill of materials , , it's actual price is around $250 for 5s. Xiaomi is showing the world the actual price of smart phones. Apple has only good thing is better security system in software ios.

No use of sapphire coating for a phone that lasts less than 12 months...can they make a phone atleast for the next 3 years...?then sapphire works...

My point is that while everyone seems to have used up their advantage and stretched their legs to the max. apple has kept an inherent technological advantage and still can impress with little effort.

And as anyone can see now, while samsung really couldn't add a QHD display this year because a 2.5GHz quad core isn't enough, apple is still using a 1.3 GHz dual core. They could easily power a QHD display with a modest quad core under 2.0 GHz while no android phone could do that.

Apple instead of using cosmetic on its few years old technology, better do some serious changes in hardware and display and memory and giving choice to consumers.
Apple is just offering nice fonny look with high price with really low performance compare to modern age smartphones.

I just hope it cost $3000 with fast dual core 1.1 gz, 1ghz ram,1000 mah battery. brilliant 720p TFT lcd and of course 100 millions sales bought by stupid so called I- people
