While innovation does sometimes mean that, it also means bringing forward a change that makes something more useful. Apple is very good at this, and innovation at Apple usually means taking a piece of technology (new or borrowed), and making it very useful.
An example is iBeacons (google it), which is very old tech (it's Bluetooth guys), yet being used in a great and fun manner.
If you look at it in this manner, you will see why Apple certainly is a leader in its field.

amoled is terrible. I would never buy a Samsung, because of their awful blue tinted screen.

Hey guys. I'm as anti Apple as the next guy (prices) but I think this is a good development. Others will follow, you'll see.(If it costs Apple $10 per screen that means $60 extra per phone.

They only mimic features but they haven't introduced a feature made originally by them. The fingerprint scanner was originally from Pantech's Vega No.6 so it is really first from Android.

the iphone battery sucks, if the iphone will stay in competition of market and want to beat Samsung smart phones , iphone should Concentrate of long lasting battery.

Any useless feature that you can think of, when Apple IPhone touches that useless feature it becomes useful and trendy. Look, fingerprint scanner that iPhone 5s has everyone was criticising it but now HTC One Max & S5 are using it. what does that tells you? It tells you that, iphone is the role model in world of smartphones.

iphone user 2, 27 Feb 2014I sincerely didn't expect positivity and honesty to most co... moreYou won't hear any positivity about iPhone because it is plainly a hoax in terms of Apple's claim of their phone being the best out there when they can not provide the best specs that people can get with their money in comparison to Android and Windows Phone devices. Sony Xperia Z2 will make iPhone 5S look like a sh*t in a side by side comparison and Z2 is very durable too. Add Lumia 1520 on the list of phones that can make iPhone 5S eat dust especially in the camera department. iPads are in a different league though, I like Apple when it comes to the tablet department.
