Samsung CEO denies a more premium Galaxy S5 in the works

Samsung's CEO J.K. Shin says the rumors about a premium Galaxy S5 model are wrong.

I think there is sound reason to believe him because anything of that sort of would be 'S5 done right'. They already launched it so there isn't going to be a new model. It's done and dusted.

The rumor makers can now resume by saying it could be the future S6 for next year.

        The S5 internal storage has more than 8Gb, you referencing the S5 demoed at MWC which had a demo package on taking more space. The internal available is around 10/11Gb.

        Still a disappointing device regardless....coming from a 6 year Samsung device person.

He didn't say that a premium phone is not in the works. Devil is in the details. Galaxy S5 Premium may be dead but we can still hope for a Galaxy F.

            Rather disappointing. The whole S5 is disappointing with its measly 16GB of which only 8GB or so is user available.

            Higher capacity versions of the S4 were also as common as water in the Sahara desert.

              I hope he's saying this to protect s5 sales and really they are developing one, so im gonna wait for that reason.
