Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom specs surface, 20MP camera in tow

A hand-written-down paper reveals alleged Galaxy S5 Zoom specs including 20 MP CMOS sensor.

A smartphone-photographic addict's real solution is getting a $300 phone(nexus4) and a $200-$300 point-and-shoot(wb800f-sx280hs-sx260hs). The only advantage for the wb800f is that one can directly transfer photos without wifi to phone, as for image quality, both canons bury any point and shoot, even at low-light (especially for 280). The only problem for the 280 is the firmware update for fixed battery life while video recording, it works by chance, but as a shooter, it's close(Somewhat)to a cheap dsrl. Only fanboys will pay over $500 dolars for a 1020 or s4zoom, but the galaxy camera is somewhat okay if direct image editing is the core reason (and if can be found bellow $350, just don't use it in low light environments, only in sunny days, or flash must be used) other wise you will look like this pot-head

          Camera comparison :
          Galaxy S5 zoom = Xperia Z2
          And S5 zoom>S5
          So Xperia Z2>S5 Maybe a little difference.
          Who is going to buy this when a phone has both of this gadgets specs together???

            Phh, probably a quad-core Snapdragon 400 / Cortex-A7, which cores CAN be clocked up to 1.6Ghz and a 720p display, because 1080p would be overkill for such chipset. And as usual Adreno 305, 2GB RAM, etc.
            In other words, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 mini Plus Zoom. LOL. :D

                I compared picture quality of S4 Zoom with Nikon L610. Nikon L610 photos were much better in low light situations and slightly better during day. Both have same 2.3" sensor. Maybe it is Samsung photo processiing software that causes photos to look inferior on S$ Zoom. Will have to see if S5 Zoom is any improvement ?

                          AnonD-89109, 24 Mar 2014I still don't understand why people even think about buying... moreFolk buy what they want,its convergence 90% of people do not carry a DSLR with them every minute of the day..If you buy a seperate cammera its back to a 2 box solution in which the camerphone was invented for over a decade ago...Why go back to when we all wanted a converged device this smartphone offers decent cam in a phone ..I applaud Samsung for trying even with Beam smartphone..

                                If the sensor size is 1/2.3" and comes with the glossy plastic design, no slow motion recording with 720p at 120 fps and 1080p at 60 fps then not worth the money.
