How were the Exynos markets screwed over? I'm typing this on a S4 Exynos 32GB on KitKat, last I checked the Sony competitor to my phone, the Z, still sits on 4.3, and you say the Exynos was screwed over? Lol, you are very lost and haven't a clue of what you're on about.

Like it or not at the end of the day, the S4 S800, S600 and Exynos all sit on the same Android OS (KitKat), all have the same look and build and are treated equally.

The markets where they didnt get the S800 was mostly Exynos markets, whom got screwed in the first place, and a few minor markets that got screwed over and was appointed to sell the dump phones (S600). So you are right, there was a difference, at least Sony didnt let select markets pay S800 price for inferior Exynos and S600 devices, like some second class customers of less human worth.

Deny it all you like but Samsung had three S-series flagships in 11 months.

The S4 Zoom, S4 Active are branding variants, both had weaker specs, you can't count them in as they are simply branches of an existing phone, not a replacement.

I suggest you practice what you preach WRT coffee as you seem very lost

I'm assuming Z2 is just a play to trick the competitors and shoo them away, later announcing 'The Z3' device, where SONY will stand up in the market like a boss! Smart guy SONY.

Then the early launch of S5, making samsung update more often than Sony, it was shorter between the S600 S4 and S5 than between Xperia Z and Z2. Samsung had 3 flagships in 11 months, Sony had 3 in 13 months, plus a lot of Samsung S4 variants (Zoom, Active)

Caffeine is said to improve the memory, go have a cup or two to help you remedy your selective memory.

The biggest profit and prestige is in flagships so thats where it makes most sense to do frequent updates, to stay on top of the game, and thats exactly why Samsung and Sony both does this.

Yep. This idiotic idea of announcing new hardware every six months will end up shooting Sony in the foot, as there will now be a new device on the horizon at the same time the current device supplies are ramping up.

Maybe if you are selling a $100 device, semi-anual updates may be a good strategy, but not for a $700 device.

To be honest I am not too surprised, the Z1 compact hasn't even been officially released here yet and how long has that been available in other regions?

Kinda think Sony is hiding something with the Z2 anyway like they just needed a handset out soon as just to stay market relevant
