Hong Kong won't see Xperia Z2 until June

Sony's Xperia Z2 handset won't be released in Hong Kong until June of 2014.

wtf Sony? Why do you keep messing up your flagship phones? Z2 could've been the perfect contender for this year's top flagship..

    Lots of countries will not see Z2 official until June, for example Philippines where Sony is always 4-5 weeks late in launching flagships (better on cheaper models for some reason). And as usual its good news for the grey market vendors, they will have it in stock very soon.

      Come on Sony, India gets Z2 so much earlier than HK.

      People in HK should stop buying Sony products, Period.

          not a sensual decision from Sony...I have been waiting for long but no information in pricing or availability and z3 is just around the corner...what is sony cooking???

            I've said it before & I'll say it again. Sony hinders their own business. If they are going to continue this outlandish release time table. Which doesn't really work in their favor. You must release the device nearly simultaneously with it's unveiling. Similar to what HTC did with the M8. Making availability immediate, so that the consumer has near to no time to second guess the purchase. But with huge blunders like this, it gives possible consumers time to look towards Sony's competition.

            Sony is always committing some type of silly act that keeps them just a hair behind the competition. Wether it be overlooked regions, lacking software or slight hardware issues? They seem insistent upon shooting themselves in the foot everytime. Shame.

              The z2 isn't even officially released in my country (nz). By the time its released the z3 would be already announced as well as other flagships such as note 4 and g3. Stupid 6-month upgrade cycle.

                      Sony better delay the release of Z3 until S808 and S810 are unveiled. For now, just ship the f**kin' Z2 asap! Don't let your customers down
