I know ihaters live to trust logical words but tell me where is the Galaxy fingerprint scanner I'd located. In the home button right ? And where is Touch ID the same. Samcopy at its best. And when the Attrix ess introduced 3 yrs ago nobody followed suit and introduced their own fingerprint scanner. But as soon as Apple did it in just months Samcopy ripped it off almost with the same functionality. And I would applaud them if at last they made a good job on making something compelling which actually works and I'd a joy to use but no it's just for show just like the other gazillion sensors on galaxies. They'd better be buying iPhones and disassembling them to rip off Touch I'd and use it on galaxies lol. They copy so poorly they rival chins phones

But then Samsungs is the same??? But on Samsungs you have to swipe therefore its more like that of the Attic?? Talk about irony, in your opinion its one rule for Apple (legal righs over everything including o2 and h2o) and one rule for everyone else. Oh and i'm not a samsunng user just someone who knows Apple aren't all that and just rip off tech and put fancy words on it to let isheep believe they invent things.

Wow, some of you have really taken this whole "Android/Apple did it first" thing way too far.

Phones have reached the laws of diminishing returns. Tech has flat-lined and there simply isn't anything that groundbreaking companies are putting out tech wise.

Try to think of anything they you have come up with that would be considered innovative.

Android did this first but no one noticed it... i'm sure most of us would need to google to find out what device "first" had these sensors. So pls don't mention all these BS about who did what. It's like oh this phone uses a keyboard but wait they are not the first ... or this phone uses plastic but it's not the first.. like who da heck cares? grow up already. At the end of the day you want money from that Android phone with finger print that no one knew about or iphone which embraced it and sold millions? THINK before you talk again pls.

It required swiping and it was on a whole other location at the back of the device on the upper part. Samsung is a copycat shock totally ripped off Touch ID months after its release. Also you do know that the original Mac OS ess a joint venture between Xerox and Apple and there were ex Apple employees part of the team as well as ex Xerox employees and for the other parts Apple did not own they paid with Apple stock but little insecure I hate criers like you will shut they eyes and go to Xerox and say please don't tell puerile out ess a joint venture please let me bash Apple and increase my confidence that my devices are better than those rich kids at school when you were young

totally agree with the previous comment regarding Motorola, sadly they didn't shout loudly enough about fingerprint readers unlike Apple.

Apple used to be good way back when they was powered by ironically Motorola processors and called Macintosh's but now all they are good at is marketing tech as there own! what a bad apple

So MOTOROLA gets "Appled", like XEROX got it 30 plus years ago. Apple's got pretty good at theft of others IP.
