Well if you use an iphone and an android you will see how refined the iphone is and how enjoyable it is to use. The Touch ID in the iphone is quicker than the click and swipe on galaxy s5. Both are similarly priced. So if you had a $500 to spend on a phone. Why experience would you prefer to get for that?

Folk spend ages on talent shows,tv and you tube trying to get famous and only few make it. So whats NSA going to find on my computer that's interesting or so good it will make me famous? They can look at all my computer its boring stuff relevant to me they are not going to find anything so good it will propel me into stardom..
To sum up the NSA can have access to my comp and phone I have nowt to hide,,if things go wrong my credit cards are all covered against loss and all my contents of computer ALWAYS backed up on hardrive if they ruin my comp being nosey..They have been spying on everyone since day one its nothing new..

Design Engineers at Apple: Samsung has given a finger print sensor.
Lets also give all our iphones and ipads a finger print sensor and called it TouchID and sell our products for 500$ extra than usual.

Yay,NSA is throwing a party for this.Stupid people that don't know how important their fingerprints are and what you can do with them won't care about this.We'll talk about this in a few years when some other whistle-blower will come out and say NSA collected all the fingerprints of all fingerprint enabled devices.

Now that I know Touch ID is going to be installed onto the new iPads I’m going to make sure to sell my old one for cash and use the money for the new coming in a few months.
While google searching I found this site called www.recomhub.com. It was like a KAYAK site but for reselling your Apple devices. It compared all the companies that will buy back your iPad or iPhone and shows the highest offer.
It was really cool and easy to use.

And as we know, even if a system is 100% safe some paranoid self-appointed security gurus will find some hypothetical reasons why it may not be safe and as usual they get a lot of wanna-be devs to support their statement like if it wasnt hypothetical to begin with, and that is bad PR that Apple can do without.
Not much to do about it, it is how the dev community has always worked, its a programmers way of saying "my programming practices are so great, im more wary of security and blah blah". What they are really saying is that "i pretend i care about security so others will think i know more than i do but actually im to scared to release a version 1.0, i always stay at version 0.9xxxx so if anyone find a bug or security hole i can defend myself by saying its still in beta, look at the version number for proof, and i always comment too much in my code, like a nervous wreck". I have worked with countless programmers like that and have no doubt it all stems from insecurity, dev jobs are usually well paid and that tend to make people defensive and competitive and that results in over-compensating and security issues is the most popular way to over compensate for insecure devs. Apple of course knows this and need to be careful about negative publicity over new features. Wait at least one more year before letting devs access the TouchID, maybe 2 years.
