Hopefully the G4 will be a 6" QHD phablet, that would be perfect.

battery life and low heat components should be the focus now. higher capacity in a more compact battery.

Yes, you can't see the pixel 1by1 but combine them all make a sharper display for us to see. I have a very poor eye sight and can't see a pixel in a 200+ ppi density screen. From my point of view, I think they will not invest in a QHD if the screens are all the same above 350 ppi. :)))

I think loudspeaker quality is one of the areas companies should work on. The loudness of most of them is below average with bad quality. I'm eager to see what LG has done in the new smartphone G3. Working more on pixel density doesn't make sense.

6 inches is ridiculous but great if you can handle such a big phone and carry it in your shorts in summer...Flexible screen next giving us smaller phone then just pull out screen for web/video playing etc..

AnonD-151727, 29 May 2014It's not about visible pixels..it is sharpness...I second that, people just do not understand the concept, it sometimes it's hard for the brain to comprehend something it does not understand, or wants to understand, but that's just human nature, and let's leave it at that, this subject can be argued till the end of time, and people still won't understand. I know I have a S3 and S4, and can tell the difference from 720p to 1080p, same can be said with UHD.

Do you have perfect body also? You are just as good in boxing as anyone else, theres noone stronger than you, all are equal? If you apply common sense to your comment then everything you said is void, its simply impossible that NOONE can see better than you, in fact i am sure that MOST people can see better than you.

The probability that you are perfect is so close to zero that your chances of winning the lotto three times in a row is a billion times more likely. And thats a billion on the long scale.

to be honest the screens are good enough for me. the key point for the modern day smart phones i battery life. we need to concentrate on this. now my old G2 had a good one. to get through 2 whole days with bluetooth on my smartwatch, was very good. but it would be nice to get more. say 3 or 4 days.

This is the end of the phablet world.

This pixel war on anything below 7" is ridiculous.

I think 1080p is enough for mobile phones as max and screen size about 5 inch in smallest body/bezels. Everything over that is overkill. We need new technology like IGZO or Miracast. Now if trend is countined iis more likely to see some oems with plus 100 mhz fresh rate etc wich is idiotic!?. Its still only a phone. For high end devices i would be glad to see some stationdevice mode like switching from phone to all pc like mode. Just raw cpu and gpu power without phone connectivity like plug and play ps3/pc combo.

I welcome a higher resolution display but more importantly is having a balanced product with good graphics performance and battery life so for QHD it needs 14nm Snapdragon 810. For now 1929x1080/1200 with Snapdragon 800 is closer to that sweet spot.
