AnonD-273935, 14 Jun 2014You are entitled to your opinion, I'm sure. I however, ... more> I however, will be really excited when the 5"-6" 4k resolution screens appear next year.

I would rather have a 4K Video Camera (with Optical IS and Zoom).

A 6" Phone is not very pocketable. If they are going to go 4K (for Screens) a 21:9 format would be better than a 16:9 4K Screen.

Not only would that fit in your Pocket better but the extra side space could be used for Notifications (when not playing WideScreen Videos).

You would need bigger than a 10" Phone (in 16:9 format) to get use out of a 4K Screen, both from the point of viewing AND from being able to use the TouchScreen easily.

Not sure I'd notice the difference between the 800 and the 805 SoC. Would it be enough for someone to upgrade?

I have a Snapdragon S4 MSM8225, that seems to go alright.

LG G3 runs just fine, Benchmarks to a degree mean little. I have a Galaxy S3 and runs as fast and sometimes quicker than my wifes GS5, I am using Nova launcher.Phones will never get much quicker than they are now so companies just play the number/bragging game for sales..I am still very happy with my GS3 with speed/camera 1080p video etc and the screen is awesome although a little dull in bright light. But when the time comes I am going to jump and give the LG a go.

Since S801 and S800 both have little to no difference, in theory, the G2 is faster than the G3. Remember that the S801 in the G3 has to push in more power for the extra pixels, leaving the rest less for apps.

QHD is a gimmick every manufacturers falling for. This only puts stress on the GPU which in turn drains the battery quickly. 1080p is more than enough for smartphones. What these companies should do is, improve on batteries and work on some technology which will prevent phones from heating up too much which is a big problem for heavy users like me.

Sony has better battery life on their phones then LG right now(I'm talking about this year's phones).QHD display will be as useless on a sony or Samsung phone as it is on LGs. It has nothing to do with being their fan or not. What people don't understand is that a good fan needs to criticize their favorite company so they can become better.
