Ok, people, stop comparing IOS with Android. Android is Android and Ios is Ios.
Just buy a device with the OS satisfies you. For example, after a lot of thinking, i decided to buy a Windows tablet.
This is my vision of all mobile os:
Android for Google, games, personalization, pictures.
Ios for games, icloud, simplicity, updates
Windows 8 for work, school, games, updates.
Sorry, my English is not perfect. I am from Romania.

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2014Actually the notifications on iOS are as complete as on And... moreNo they aren't. Widgets in iOS 8 are limited to notifications. They aren't available on normal screens in any news release or images that i have seen.
For example, on my GN3 home screen i have a calendar widget showing upcoming appointments, a weather widget showing temps and forecast for my current location, direct dial/contact widgets and a torch widget.
These show you live data and allow you to interact directly with a phone function without going into an app (i.e. start the torch or ring someone directly)

NF Bar u mean? xD omg its as good as android? every OS has this and u wanna say that everyone stole it? its a thing that ROM should have and not innovative thing that can be stolen, Widgets are not inovative too but fact that it has not been in Ios 1-7 and now introduced in 8 that means its a stealing u understand now?
