Sorry but every argum... moreBB10 really is a nice OS and specially after the android app compatibility. i think Z10 any given time is a better phone than those plastic phones from Samsung. Its not about more ram or 50 cores its about how you design OS around a hardware.

Up to the end of the fourth paragraph of this "news" article, it was still news.
Then, this, the 5th and concluding paragraph: "For what it's worth, it's good to see BlackBerry fighting back, but it would be better if it did it through its phones rather than blog posts." It is not worth, because that is already Opinion. And an opinion it is that shows an anti-Blackberry slant.
The writer is entitled to his opinion. Just don't pass it off as news.

Anybody trash talking the new (BB10) Blackberry phones obviously has not used one and is relying on what they read in the media for their opinion.

Wow. Just wow. BlackBerry haters are like film critics...they have never created anything. I have an HTC work phone, and it's painful to use compared to my Z10. I keep wanting to swipe the screen and quickly move through mail, text and apps, and it just doesn't compare to BB10. Iphones are wonderful pieces of hardware, but seem to be perfect for soccer mom's and girls. My Z10 is built for ambitious people...just sayin.

I believe you've smoked one too many crackpipes today sir, bb10 is awful, the only thing going for it is that it sort of allows you to use android apps, so with that in mind the best part of bb10 is the android part?!?! That's all nice and well, but it's just a shame you can't make a phone that's worth a Carrot, i mean the last phone that blackberry made that was half decent was the erm ...... .... ............. ..... ................................... the erm . ....................... ........ .......... .......... ...... you know what I can't think of one, maybe that's because none of them have ever been any good and the so called security system which is in Blackberries is so bad if something fails (and believe me they always do) then the whole phone goes down, blackberry are a terrible company which had one thing going for them (bbm) now that that's main stream and a little too late as people are already using Whatsapp instead, I believe it's only a matter of time before blackberry hit the scrap heap.

BB10.2.1 has a lot going for it and in many ways I think it is superior to Android, which comes across now as bloated and even Google admits it is designed to be open (ie, capture market share) and not with security in mind. And there is always the Google spyware to consider (so called collection of market data). As for usage, I prefer the BB OS. Hardware wise BB needs to catch up. It needs to get its BB OS out into the market by whatever means, and maybe the Z3 will help that. The BBZ10 is perhaps the best value for money phone out there at the moment.

whatever I don't give a damp about samsung or Google, I love blackberry even if they make the worst phones, they are still the best when it comes to social networking. thumbs up blackberry. can wait to buy blackberry passport and blackberry classic. I love my z10

only one man, 04 Jul 2014Bro, stop lying...just stop itThis post is very ill informed as he is confused with consumer level security versus corporate/enterprise level security. when your BB is linked to a BES system there are way more software lock downs that solve your "problems" you listed. Thus making the Blackberry phone very secured if not the best secured.

That right GSM Areana. They should look to develop more smart phones rather than blogs. We love Blackberry. But their phones are not good like Android, Iphone and Windows. We no more get such feeling that when we use Android, Windows and Iphone.
Lets hope Black berry will give us a meaning full fruit. :)

AnonD-233508, 04 Jul 2014Let's just say we agree about BB security and how they try ... moreThe only way for blackberry to survive is to target the entry level or mid range category with reasonable prices so that consumers will be drawn to their flagship but of course the flagship price would be reasonable as well. I'm saying because I personaly think BB devices are rather overpriced when it comes to specifiations eventhough they do not invest in advertising so much. But maybe they know what they're doing. If not, sorry but please slowly die.

Security might be good but Blackberry user experience was horrible and the reason they're nearly dead.
