The iPhone is already ridiculously over priced.
The one and only thing that warrants it costing more that a low mid range to mid-mid range Android is the R&D. That's it. Everything is extreme price gouging.
Screen, battery, software, ram, accessibility, cpu, features are all lagging years behind their monies worth. Even phones from 10 years ago have a couple tricks/features ios lacks.

Aluminum is a cheap recyclable material same glass and plastic.
As well as poly Carbonate is a high grade premium plastic that is more durable, practical, and cost effective than aluminum or glass.

samesung boys, it wont take much time for apple to give a plastic phone with android in it. Apple always provide premium products for premium rates, if u cannot afford it go for android it can do almost everything but not as smooth and reliable as apple. people started buying shamsung product saying that it is cheap and have lots of features, now it is selling cheap plastic for price equivalent to apple and still crazyfanboys like u r cryin

Apple may not have the biggest screen in the market but their after sales service makes up for it and much more .
They charge more because they know even if they dont sell in billions , people who purchase their products get the best quality product wise and service wise .

Moreover it will only feature sapphire COATING not a piece of solid sapphire slab like Vertu. Having removable back is an advantage. We can always change if it is damaged or cracked or like you said fade in colour which I seriously doubt it. Think your iphone aluminum back cant get scratches/dents? Try changing it then. LOL
