It has stereo speakers, they are the two grills on the front above and bellow the screen. What people seem to assume is a speaker on the side is actually a wrist strap hole.

Smartphones are becoming a perishable, new models being churned out every few months (in Sony or Samsung's case) that will be obsolete due to Google continually producing new software while dropping older versions, prompting users to upgrade their software or phones.

It'd be very silly if they moved the speakers back to the side like Xperia Z. It was one of the most annoying design flaw on that one.

i hope it's thinner and better than z2. i am hoping at the back camera is 20mp and the front is 5mp. i wish it's 6.1 inch screen. i will buy this phone if the specs are amazing.

AnonD-2005, 12 Jul 2014sony is starting to be a samsung...churring out same design... more"They" (meaning Sony) never said ANYTHING about the Z3 design, or about the Z3 at all. There were rumors that the Z3 would be completely redesigned, but you can't fault Sony when rumors (that they have nothing to do with) turn out to be wrong. This may not even be the final thing.
