Been using this phone for 6 months now. Amazing phone. Love the new WP8.1 Live tiles are awesome. and the UI is so clean. Android and iOS are so boring.
I can customize the home screen in so many ways.
And the camera is just phenomenal.

For Nokia though, I assume they're going to be wanting to put out another high-end camera phone to replace this.

As HTCians, I'd like to implore Nokia to go back to their own Os which is Symbian & Meego. N900 & N9 & N8 were the best competitors to HTC and iphone. please Nokia we don't want you to be extinct. however, HTC for life no matter what

It's a niche device with exclusive to AT&T in the US. I think the newer version is coming out with faster processor.

No loss to mankind. Anyway it wasnt the best cameraphone. Huge lagg, very unacurate colors. Good bye 1020.

If phones like Lumia 920, 1020 would have Android or if MS sorry Nokia wouldnt stop develop Symbian they could sell much more phones. Nokia N8 sell more then 5mln+ how good was 920 or 1020 selling ? Even their phone with MeeGo sell better then first Lumia series. Today nobady knows why they didnt even try Android earlier like in 2009, 2010 even in 2012...Why today they try sell low end phones with ugly own idea ? Why not before, between 2009-2012 ? After all...why not try Android and MeeGo or Android and WP even still develop Symbain add MeeGo and Windows Phone when MS give license for free. Who normal choose WP in those years as a main OS, here was worse because Elop cancel good Symbian and much better MeeGo. Close cooperation with MS in end result means dead for that Nokia which all know and love it.

take it positive guys
Lumia 1020 has no card slot for expansion and S4 pro chipset is not capable doing 41MP shots fastly
so MS is going to save its customers by getting new 41MP shooter to them with card slot and poweful chipset which can mangae 41MP shots easily and with 2K or 1080P screens
with the same price bracket

To me the os and the screen size is just perfect. I wanted to buy it last year, but I bought samsung galaxy mega 6.3 sony xperia x ultra. I dont like phone without physical home button, unremovable battery and sim card like iphone sim. Nano sim card is a burden. You need to carry bin around, just in case you need to switch phone which is what I always do.
