The speaker grill looks awfull.
They should add capacitive buttons at the bottom of the screen, to let you use the whole 4.5' screen and a bigger battery (2500+mAh) would be an improvement.

A worthy successor to Moto G's legacy should have--->
-Snapdragon 410
-2GB RAM(I multitask a lot)
-adreno 306
-8MP shooter(don't care much)
-better screen/body ratio
-micro SD slot(must have for me)
-non reflective coating on the screen
-priced accordingly of course.
Would make it a perfect phone.
I would upgrade without any second thoughts.

1up, 21 Jul 2014They should upgrade the SoC to Snapdragon 410Yeah, 410 is 64bit where 400 is 32bit and 410 has built in LTE modem. It'll be great if they increase the RAM too, but 1 GB is still OK.

Wow underpowered or what. Moto G is higher powered than its successor, does not make sense. newer phone lower spec.

Please make dual sim with LTE...and do not remove the micro sd slot...slightly bigger than 4.5"...thumbs up with the front facing speaker...comes with latest android L...bigger battery this time...stick with same resolution...please make all of these, will you? Thanks moto.
