AnonD-183154, 26 Jul 2014Everyone, move to T-Mobile to support the only ethical carr... moreThe only reason T-Mobile is offering unlimited data is to lie customers to their network, only way for people to leave their current network and join their crap outside the city network. And how long do you think T-Mobile will be able to sell you the all you can eat plan, once their network gets saturated, they will have to scale back like all the rest. And when I hear about these cheap European data plans, or makes me laugh, you networks have nowhere near the capacity to handle the infrastructure like the USA, heck Texas is bigger than some of these European countries, it costs a pretty penny to keep all these towers humming along. I am not in any way shape or form sighting with the carriers, but someone has to pay to keep the lights on. And Verizon has the best network coverage bar none, you get what you pay fo, I could care less about a bazillion download speed, when I lose reception inside the house or office building, or have no reception outside of the big city.

Customers in the US and Europe got LTE, 4G, blah blah blah by paying a small fee monthly.

You should check Indonesia out and you will be grateful to your mobile carrier.

We have like the slowest internet speed and no subsidy. My friends and I are spending USD 100+ monthly for data plan and voice call. Yet, we get to buy our own handset...

I would like to see these users file a lawsuit against Verizon. Unlimited has always meant the highest throughput the network is capable of sending to your handset. Verizon screwed up when they wrote the 3G contracts even as they were converting their network to LTE. Now because of Verizon's screw up they want their customers to pay.

"customers who pay for data buckets (no matter how big or small) will get priority over people who are still on the now-extinct unlimited data plans"

Are you trying to say those with unlimited are not paying?????

This is utter crap. You're not fixing anything. Just being arses.
They have unlimited data...SO THEY GET TO USE AS MUCH AS THEY WANT.

Paying around 20usd a month for my 10gb of 4G data and on a bad day seeing speed around 15mbit here in Sweden, did I mention that there are unlimited talk/sms/mms on top of the 10GB of data?.
Better get that pitchfork out and head over to FCC and demand reclassification to stop some of the robbery and raping of consumers in the US.

You guys are all more fortunate than we Jamaicans. We pay the equivalent of $25 US for 3 gigs of data & the worst thing is it's marketed as 4G but no matter where u are my speed has never exceeded 2mb.

So yeah, I think I know more about Canadian rates than you do.

Now talking about Mobile internet as in Rocket stick and tablet, it's still quite expensive within that regard. But on a two year cell phone plan Canada has some of the highest rates in the world.
