26 July, 2014
The phone started burning while being kept under a pillow, fortunately not harming the person sleeping on it.

How come not every s4 in the world was burn. I'm sure she isn't the only one who sleeps with a s4 under her pillow. It's obviously her fault not samsungs fault. If it was samsungs fault there wouldn't be a single s4 in the planet right now.

Poor Samsung. Cheap company makes luxury products. my s3 gets hot when I use it but not that bad like this story. S3 most probably my last phone from Samsung. next upgrade will be Sony.

Glad she's ok. Good reminder that companies shouldnt make their battery replacable, because they cant quarantee the safety of user, though even its not company fault if people use bad batteries, but companies still let users have that choice and its obviosly that many users use that choice and buy cheap batteries, because well they are cheap. In that moment they doesnt think the safety or that something could happen.

Placing a phone under the pillow is asking for trouble, that thing must have gotten real hot for the battery to act that way, the same could have happened with the OEM battery
