5.5" iPhone 6 out in December, 4.7" model won't get sapphire

New rumors talk about only one iPhone 6 getting a sapphire display, and the bigger model's release date.

If a 5.5 inch model comes out it will end the triumph of ipads..people will but i phablets..not ipads

      Whatever, we already know the iPhone 6 will be too long to be pocketable and too thin to have acceptable battery, forcing people over to the horrible Android OS. I see no choice but to wait for what Z3 Compact can offer.

      Apple isnt doing it right, ok so they finally gave in to demands and increased the display size (increased a bit too much imo) and maybe NFC is finally onboard, but what about the other user demands? Which is smaller bezels and better battery, nothing still. And less iTunes dependency? Nothing. If it was a bit shorter and thicker it would have been enough for me, but as it is now the iPhone6 has terribly wrong proportions.

          Hope Apple add a pen to the bigger version. Had a go of the Note 3 that my friend has and it is awesome. If my iphone had a pen would use it occasionally, definetely be useful.

              I would rather have a 8" ipad mini that could make GSM calls and text rather than a 5.5" iphone for a phablet.

                            As a company, sure, Samsung sell more units, as they have a lot more devices.

                            I think Apple are doing just fine in terms of market share. They don't need us worrying about them :)

Elongating its height to accommodate 16:9 aspect ratio. IMHO it won't be much different from a 4" to a 4.7".

                              If they keep the same pixel density and aspect ratio then the screen will be aprox. 760x1352 pixels at 4.1"x2.3". That's merely 10,4cm x 5,85cm that's not dramatically different from the current 8,86cm x 4,92cm. What's all the fuzz about?

I'm an ex iPhone user now on note 3... Won't be going back.
