        The drop in revenue is indirectly linked to Xiaomi who has stolen a lot of market share from Samsung, HTC and Sony.

        HTC has a great device but let down by its 4MP Ultra Pixels camera.

        If HTC can provide option to have 20MP camera and reduce the price by $100~$150, more devices will be sold.

If the operating system had to do anything with sales, Android would not command the global market share it does! Do some reading... it will do you good!

            People say it's all doom and gloom for all Android makers (Only Samsung and LG are profitable, and Samsung's mobile profits are falling). However, people fail to see that the new breed of Android makers are all in China. They are profitable and are increasing marketshare exponentially by releasing high end devices at affordable costs.

              They should have included a better camera in the M8 and price it lower, even if it meant giving up the metal body.

                People are finally start to seeing what android makes for these companies. Samsung had vey bad quarter and going to have the whole end of year, htc is in very big problems, sony said they arent going to make money from smartphones this year anymore and the list goes on...
