Livius, 13 Aug 2014S5 is above Motorola Shamu if you look closer and better to... moredude lg g3 has a 2k display and gs5 has a 1080p display so yeah it will be hard for the processors to push the pixels...

So it's going to called Shamu? Sounds like they had a "whale" of a time coming up with that name. Will it be a "killer" phone? We'll just have to wait and "sea"!

S5 is above Motorola Shamu if you look closer and better to the picture of the benchmarks . Aldo a lot of people hate so much the Samsung S5 it is very fast and LG G3 it is not better or much better as a lot of people say . I own a S5 and before I had HTC M7 and the difference was big !! I know that a lot of you are going to call me a fan boy but I don't give a shit ! Motorola Shamu is going to be very nice and good and it is going to sell like hell :)

          Actually, you need "BackPacks".
I fail to understand the marketing objectives behind such huge screens for a mobile phone. Why on earth do I need a 5.9" mobile ? I want a mobile phone not a tablet.
A 5.9" screen is not a phone and it is not a tablet, it's between. It's either pregnant or not pregnant. There's no In between.
          I believe a 4.7" to 5" screen is ideal.

why the mobile companies are making such big sized mobiles? totally useless devices for regular use. i think one day these companies will offer free carry bags to hold the mobiles, and tablets will be used in homes for showing videos

Google phones come with modest specs. They are not up for ppi or pixel race.

Seems more likely that the Nexus 6 uses a 2560x1600 but with a faster than Snapdragon 801 (maybe Snapdragon 805) processor. Few reasons:

                                      1) Nexus is supposed to be the preview of next year's processors and technology... the Nexus 5 still holds up well compared to the Snapdragon 801s, the Nexus 4 held up well compared to the Snapdragon 600. The Nexus 6 will need to hold up well to the coming 64bit Snapdragon 805-810 and Tegra K2 chips.

                                      2) Google has been a participant in the ppi race... from the Nexus 10 that introduced the 2560x1600 to the Nexus 7 2013 that went class leading 1080p and the Nexus 5 which was class leading 1080p. I don't see the world in which a Nexus device is released and outclassed by Galaxy Note 4 (the only other expected major fall release of that size) on every major spec.
