So you're saying a phone is superior because its benchmarking scores and feel? Benchmarking really doesn't mean squat and the feel is so overated. That's the main arguement I hear through all this Apple/Samsung nonsense. The S5 doesn't feel like its cheaply made. I'm sure if a phone was made of masked carbon fiber people would still say metal is more premium. It's not.
Every company falls at some point, but I really don't see that happening in Samsung's near future. Unless they take the blackberry route and completely ignore the customer/trends.

Currently yes, more people would buy Notes, but recent sales indicate more people will buy Xiaomi than before.
What that means for the future? Anybody's guess.

As a whole android phones like HTC, Sony, LG and etc are branded premium phones to majority of people. People say iphone is very expensive and over the hype but we android users also buy expensive phones. Xiaomi, Oppo, Huawei and etc is cheaper with same specs. What I mean cheaper half or even more than that so we all have faults here. I made peace with friend this never ending iphone hate etc. We also do the same even pocketnow compare g3 from mi 4 and par and it has better quality.

When we were kids we would never ever consider Goldstar (LGs real name) and the likes as branded in any way, their products were always inferior copies of Sony mostly and had horrible quality. It will never occur to me as branded, just look how horrible weak and noisy airconditioners and products like that they make, you are lucky if you an LG AC unit is still cooling efficiently after a year. Poorest products ever, and i dont even need to mention the display of LG G3, drains battery like crazy and has seriously low contrast, its actually made with an old type LPTS production tech, awful, its a downright scam for that price (the reason for lpts is that they could not achieve that pixel density on the newer manufacturing tech)

I do prefer Samsung devices and really don't like Apple and no I'm not bashing any phone, but I don't think this is fair as in the UK, the only iPhones that are 4G enabled are the 5C/5S. Samsung have at least 4 available on the market.

Not sure about brand loyalty, but it seems to me that my earlier statement stands no? Samsung is in trouble and needs to do something before things get worse.

It has par benchmark, the quality is much superior. The problem about chinese brand like xiaomi is they started like making phones like 2011 so that's we the android users got use to Samsung, LG, Sony and more because they made the phone first in android stuff. Android phones war has been there but when Chinese brands introduce there phones with same specs but half the price of them competitors. it change what smartphones today "obsolete".

On a side note... Humanity has become a disappointing and disgusting thing. People arguing constantly about smartphones is beyond ridiculous. I'm guilty in some instances, but damn. Is this really what we've become?

All these comments and opinions don't make any sense. If Samsung was releasing an inferior product, people wouldn't be buying. It's as simple as that. People will give every excuse possible to discredit Samsung, but they do release quality products.
I'd really like to see some polls for people who have actually triedo the devices they are bad mouthing. I've actually tried every platform and most brands so I have a more informed opinion about my preference. Not just spewing nonsense because of brand loyalty.
