Until now they are not independent electronic company...
They dont have the engineering fundamental...

crappy nvidia .. !! you sticking your nose n... moreOf course they need money after 4 generations of Tegra flopping they need the $$$, funny thing is the processor is fine it's just 3x more expensive then the competition which is why no one bothers with it. Wouldn't surprise me if that is the reason behind Samsung and Qualcomm not paying them, they are asking for too. Thing is large companies typically get screwed over they have high rates due to high income.
Or perhaps nVidia is taking Samsung to court as nVidia has tried to get Samsung to buy their processors and they an't interested so they sprung this on them. Before you say right or wrong you should check out nVidia's history and business practices they an't angels i can tell you!!
They have a reputation in refusing businesses licences they like to control everything (could be good bed fellows with Apple), even nVidia was VERY VERY lucky that the courts allowed forced Intel to use SLI at a fee and a steep one i hear at that.

Qualcomm,ARM and Imagination are much older company's than nvidia.They are(were) in the field of graphic long before nvidia even existed,and by the way i fondly remember late 90" and just how crappy nvidia was.All they do was just clever marketing(similar to Apple,thats why clever people back than buyed 3dfx.They invent almost nothing and i am staying behind my words.

WTF, Nvidia! I respected you and nou this? PowerVR, Adreno and MALI are ALL the other GPUs used in Samsung products. If they infringe you, why don't you sue those companies? Why do you sue Samsung? They are simply buying their products. This is only a way for them to make money, after the decrease in PC selling. They have NO success in the mobile world so, what did they think: oh, let's sue the biggest phone manufacturer, maybe we will take some money. What a j*rk!

Samsung had been dragged to court multiple times by different manufacturers and lost every time. It's clear that they are cheaters, and thats why they becomes such big industry developing such bullshit phones.

Nvdia makes the world's best graphic cards for PCs n now for mobile devices.. So its probably true that they myt ve spent 9billon dollars... And if any other's try to copy the research outcomes without paying for it .. There's nothing wrong in suing them!!! I have a Samsung s5 but I love devices with nvidia at its heart!!

Most of the kids in this forum doesn't have a clue how things are going in this world.
Maybe Samsung makes some good products but the company is crap. They're making money on other players expenses. Like for example, one company X makes product or technology Y. Samsung makes agreement that they would want to use it. X agrees to sell it. But when it comes to Samsung pay for Y, they simply ignores or start to make false complains or tries to find ways how to f@&k X thru agreement terms, like they did not do something on time or smthng like that.
You'd ask why if something like that is still happening? If it's true, no-one would make any deals with Samsung. But Samsung is big customer and lot of companies hope always for the best. Sometimes they're lucky, sometimes they're not, not having not enought money or good lawyers to protect themselves.
And in terms of selling stuff, Samsung is very aggressive, making dumping. That is also why they are šo big and everywhere.
I don't hate Samsh!t, I have very good monitor but after acknowledging this sh!t, I choose not to they're stuff.
