Anonymous, 05 Sep 2014It is conncted. Samsung is getting bigger and bigger. Soon... moreSamsung OS? Tizen will be as successful as Bada before it. You don't have to own an OS to get people's data. Is that so hard to understand? If American companies are so nationalistic, why does Google work so closely with Samsung? Only US companies hold people's data? Where did you get that misinformation from? At the very least local networks have lots of people's data. And it only gets bigger and more diverse from there. The NSA? You actually think the NSA or the intelligence agencies of any other major country needs back doors from these companies to get user info? Maybe that's your problem. You don't know how the internet or technology works today.

Now only US companies hold the ppl's data . On the whole World. Windows, Android, iOS, OS X .....with open back doors for NSA or such.
Yes, many ppl (even from US and not criminal) would prefer to give there data to Korea instead. So if NSA or such wanna dig , to do it at least with request.

Of cours the patents must be paid . But IF , agait IF, someone use patent here with no rights, IT'S NOT Samsung(or the other OEMs). But the company that makes and sells Snapdragon. Get it?
                          P.S.
What you say about : if Apple patent hologram TV , but have no idea how should be made? It's possible in US.
If some company make it in the future, should they pay to Apple?

I don't see the logic here! NVIDIA should have filed its patent lawsuit only against the GPU manufacturers - QUALCOMM (Adreno), ARM (Mali), and IMAGINATION (PowerVR). If the GPU manufacturers pay NVIDIA for using their technology in their GPUs, then it makes no sense to also demand similar payment from SAMSUNG!

Seriously kid, once you get off the playground you'll realise that that isn't how the world operates.

I'll make it simple for you: Companies pay licensing fees to use patented technology. Samsung ignored its obligations, and the patent owner has every right to be compensated for their invention.

Example: If you made a holographic tv, a completely new invention, and Apple said 'good idea, I'm going to make one too, exactly the way you did' and sold it for huge profits globally would you not feel like you were ripped off?
