There is nothing to Retina display but a buzz word that Apple used to market the the higher (300ppi+) resolution LG/Sharp manufactured display that they used in iPhone 4 and later and Apple has no claim over the display tech. Technologically, there is nothing different from the other IPS displays that LG manufactures and uses in their own phones as well as sells to other vendors.

JUST 2 reasons
1) There are NO 4.7" phones anywhere on this planet that have 16 GB on board and with only 1 GB ram
Trust me Tim Cook is NOT going to be the first not now not ever.
2) Rui Kee on Weibo, is faking stupid even if you convince to accept that the iPhone is the best phone on this planet
This is WRONG from 1024Mb total RAM, the A8 only requires 36Mb leaving 988Mb user available

What's wrong with G3's photo? Why is it in 16:9 ratio and not the regular 4:3 ratio? Also seems like iPhone's camera have wider FOV than G3 which is unusual.

Sure the GPU need more juice for hig res displays if you are gamning on the phone, and i dislike the LG G3 for its underpowered GPU, they should have waited for adreno 420 before going to QHD.
For lots of users GPU doesnt make any difference, they play simple games that doesnt need any 3D power, and some dont play at all, not on smartphone and not on PC. For me GPU power belongs in Xbox and PS and in iPad, disappointing how many games on iPad Air will run in 1024x768 because the iPad 3 and 4 didnt have the proper GPU power for 3D in Retina resolution, developers just dont care much about it since only iPad Air and Mini 2 has enough GPU power to use full res, and on Mini 2 the pixels are so small at normal gaming distance that we rarely notice if its only 1024x768. On the bigger iPad Air however its easy to see when a game runs at reduced resolution. Apple has a problem there, that lots of games looks just as good on iPad 2 as it does on iPad Air and the upcoming Air 2. Why upgrade if the retina games arent there.

Anyway its gonna be sad if its really 750p, iPone really need higher PPI now, my current phone has considerably better PPI at 355 but is still just sad to look at.
One thing about PPI that many people are not aware of is that its a one dimensional value describing a 2 dimensional surface, its easy to think that Retina at around 326 is only a little lower than say 400 PPI, at first glance Retina is only 18.5% lower but thats very wrong, we need to square the factors so in reality its 33.5% lower.

improvement are only in use with Full HD & QHD devices, not low resolution ones, yeah i agree with that,
it's obvious, no need to tell of course.
as Iphones are not any familiar with FHD & QHD terms i should mention FHD=1920*1080 & QHD 2560*1440,
FHD rendering was brought to smart!! phones years ago, LOL * now we see QHD (oh iphone 6 will be more than just!! HD??!!! first iphone ever, LOL)
