These co... moreU have hit the nail on the head..given the choice to get Redmi 1S for Rs 5999, no body will buy this junk..but can Xiaomi supply Redmi 1S @ 1 Mill per month to India market?.it obviously can not hence these upstarts will make hay as long as Xiaomi is playing footsie with supply of just quarter of demanded sets in Indian market.

Better take xiaomi redmi 1s which has 720p hd display with quad core qualcomm snapdragon 400 1.6GHz

This is publicity stunt. Pricing will be much lower than 6999, after launch.
This is just to make showing high price before release and selling cheaper actually.
