AnonD-215124, 17 Sep 2014Stock android is crap, who would want a premium android pho... moreYou are clueless more and more people are going for stock android which is free from bloatware. You must be a carrier fanboy in love with pointless bloat. If you are speaking of your own needs that's different, doesn't mean it includes the rest of the population with your low standards.

                Consider this.

Android L is designed to run on 64bit hardware. No flagships are running 64bit cores as of yet. Why use this hardware as a base? Off-the-shelf SoC's are behind the software.

Stock android is crap, who would want a premium android phone without any features? There is a reason CyanogenMod exists... it's because no one wants stock android.
