If they go with the iPad form factor then I'm out.

I LOVED the widescreen-esque Nexus 7s. Perfect for me.

A shame if they choose to abandon that :(

I think this'll be a great tablet, HTC make superb phones and the Nexus line has gone from strength to strength, this may be the tablet to replace my trusty Asus Prime, I don't think it'll look better but it'll more than likely perform faster, I'd expect this badboy to be running either the tegra 4 or the Snapdragon 805, 3GB of RAM, no SD slot, but 32GB of RAM, moderate battery.

I think just like Apple, Google should manufacture their own hardware for Nexus smartphone and tablets, that way they will be able to provide the kind of quality that Apple does, and they don't have to be dependent on some manufacturer.

I much prefer a 10.1" or 10.5" screen tablet, 9" is just too small. Give use a replacement Nexus tablet.
