India is flooded with cheap android phones. I think they wont be able to survive if the price is above 40k. Prices will be between 40k-45k for the 32GB variant.

Hi, anybody let me know the detailed spec of this Nexus-6?. And, also what is the probable date of release in India.
I would like to compare it with Xperia Z3 before closing in on my purchase.
        Thanks,

AnonD-226352, 16 Oct 2014Google should ensure the availability before Diwali in Indi... moreThey don't care for some Indian festival. Their main focus is convenience of the world wide market and many focus specially on American market's convenience. Now that Motorola is owned by Chinese Lenovo they will care even less for Indian market.

Indian market prefers cheaper phones, they have android One. This phone is too expensive already to the point it wont make any difference when they release this in the Indian market as it will be the choice of the upper middle class and the rich.

Google should ensure the availability before Diwali in India. Why you don't understand the market sentiment. People will purchase on the occasion of Diwali. Google marketing is as bad as was Motorola in earlier time.

AnonD-263433, 16 Oct 2014... apparently, this is what simple minded iPhone users do... more"In the Android system U are free which crop U visit and the more crazy a site, the more U will get capped on" Wow - that doesn't make any sense to me. I have seen many of my friends who switch to an Android (especially after the launch of HTC One M7) who are desperate to go back to iPhone after their contract ends. They complain of unwarranted restarts, frequent app crashes etc. So I'm really hesitant to make the switch.

I had a 6" (Zopo zp990) phone for 6 months, but upgraded to 6.4" (Sony Xperia Z Ultra) due to a desire for larger screen. Now I've had that for nearly six months as well, just wish it had a better camera :o)

djo, 16 Oct 2014display size isn't deal breaker. Price is. ~600 bucks is wa... moreI have the Oneplus One with me now before I hand it over to the relative who wanted it. Great phone with great near stock experience with outstanding battery life which will only get better with Lollipop 5.0

But there are differences specs wise apart from the size. QHD AMOLED screen and SD805 on the Nexus 6 while SD801 and FHD IPS LCD screen on Oneplus One. OIS 13MP camera on Nexus 6 and normal non-OIS 13MP camera on Oneplus One. Oneplus's camera is great when it manages to get a steady shot. Under less than daylight you tend to get more blur if you are not too steady. It could really use some clever digital stabilization (a la Sony) or better OIS.

More obvious similarities are the lack of SDcard slot and 3GB RAM.

If you want to buy a top phone for cheap I would say go for the Oneplus One if you can tolerate the great camera's small quirks.
