It's so easy for Motorola to do this because they haven't put on rubbish UI's like Samsung's garbage Touch Wiz or Sony's Timescape or LG's optimus. Just stick to pure android and add in the custom apps specific to the device and it will be oh so easy to bring out updates very quickly for almost all the devices.

This is why I personally discourage most, if they could, to try and avoid garbage UI based phones.

To everyone saying other companies should "learn from Motorola" about upgrading their phone OS to the latest:

Motorola Mobility was bought by Google.

of course they are going to make the Nexus handset, as well as push out the latest version to most of the new models.

Also, by 2015, Motorola Mobility will be sold to Lenovo. Short-lived.

This is exactly where Motorola will win the game. If Moto E as low as it is can get the android L meaning they really care about giving the best experience but not to foul people with a high end phone like the Galaxy Note 4 which was 4.4.4 but before the update the Galaxy S6 need to come with android L the 3 month, 5 month after then the Note 4 get the android L.

Good job Moto just keep it up.
