Apple are only bringing out this watch just to make money.
The same thing with the "specification absent" iPad Mini which was had the LEAST specs and cost the MOST of all the tablets in its category
In case you forgot it was so devoid of specs it was marketed with the iPad (only the specs on the iPad mini advertised) so people logically assumed it has all specs of the IPad
The upgrade if you can call it that for the iPad mini 3 just adds Apple Pay ?
Expect limitations in which iPhone can/will support the watch which won't extend to the iPhone4S and only a days use before it need recharging

Give it 3 years and there will articles like this again: "Smartwatch sales are down, no one is replacing them".
Like tablets, sales of smartwatches will crash for everyone. I still don't see this market being profitable for long period of time.

Specs are for the dumb but the iPhone 6 is not a slouch. It is a pleasure to use and I am happy to be using it as my daily phone, after two years of using Android flagships.
This is not to disparage Android OS, which is great, but the iPhone 6+ is really the best package money can buy right now, in my opinion.

So our kids and the generations that are coming will no longer appreciate a 100000$ watch and they will be raise with gadgets. Even luxury watches must adapt somehow because 10 years from now the sales will be a lot lower and 15 years from now even worst.

In Arabic there is a saying: the income of the dumb comes from the crazy. Exactly how Apple gets its money. Why on earth would I buy a phone that has a higher price with lower specs? Supposedly they teach economics in this country!!!!

"Now, Slashgear has new information on how the device will work for left-handed individuals. According to Apple, users will be able to choose what way the watch's interface orients upon starting up the device for the first time. The bands for the Apple Watch are also swappable, enabling users to ensure the the device is not facing the opposite direction. However, left-handed users will still be required to adapt to the Digital Crown input on the Apple Watch, which is on the bottom left side when the device is worn on the correct wrist."

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2014Another study paid for by Apple. It's rather thick, ugly a... moreEach to their own, I guess. I think the digital crown is admittedly a bit clunky but an interesting solution to the fact watch sized screens are really too small to use as a convenient touch screen.
I still maintain the Apple Watch isn't the kind I'd ever wear, though. I prefer round faced watches.

In the past, before mobile phones , a luxury watch was an need of time and being, a high end crafted accesoriy and a fashion
Since the mobile phones..the need for time and being was lost, and we are left with luxury materials hand maded and fashion accessory , after 10 years we will be left of just an handed made and a history art for collection
