Apple Watch the most anticipated wearable, PwC study finds

21 October, 2014
An Amazon smartwatch would also enjoy significant interest, should the retail giant jump on the bangwagon.

Another study paid for by Apple. It's rather thick, ugly and using the dial as input is rather poor design.

Apple Watch the most anticipated wearable? I wonder if thats the case also outside the US which is 4% of the planets population. The Apple Watch still requires an iPhone in its vicinity for full functionality. The Samsung Wear S doesnt and can make calls. And both are about $400 which is a lot to pay for just a heartrate monitor on your wrist.

OMG, 21 Oct 2014Rolex watch is still better...Rolex is better only in the battery department. Even the materials used on the Apple watch are from the luxury watches

This will be huge because Apple entered in this category. Its ok for the others too.
But this is better looking and smarter than was the first iPhone, so after 2 years i think things will be even better with battery and user customisation for their style

Can't see why people would be interested in either iWatch or Android Wear. Unless you can make the battery last for a least 1 week I don't care.

I think Pebble is the only one that got the smartwatch idea right. What use is an Amoled or LCD screen? Are we going to start surfing the web on our watches?

Yes Apple Watch the most anticipated wearable to iPhone users but to the remaining 70% of the world, its not. The moto 360 is way better looking.

Why should we be surprised given the amount of free advertising and hype that this one company is given in the mainstream media.
